Biz-Solutions provides three environmentally sustainable products.
- Bio-char
- Methane (Electricity)
- Pyro-oil
Bio-char
- Bio-char or residual ash is safe farming and multiple use including agriculture.
- According to NASA climate scientist Dr. James Hansen, bio-char is one of the key ways to remove net carbon from the atmosphere.
- Bio-char increases soil fertility and decreases net carbon in the atmosphere.
- Biz-Solutions is currently producing small first-generation field-scale units for research in agricultural soil fertility, mine tailings reclamation and forest management. In the future these will continue to be scaled-up to shipping container-sized systems, and ultimately to large fixed installations for bio-char based fertilizer production.
- Bio-char may be mixed with asphalt for road patching, pulverized to Carbon Black for tire and rubber production, converted to Activated Carbon or applied to farm fields, depending on exact content, local needs and regulations.
- As well as emerging industrial applications.
Methane (Electricity)
- Facilities can produce 2 to 20 mega watt's of power.
- Reduces waste that gets buried in landfills.
- Produces energy that feeds into the grid 24 hours a day.
- Eliminate energy costs for your company.
- Ultra-low emissions technology. Under EPA Air Permitting Regulations for Particulate- 250 Tons per year is considered a Minor Source polluant and 500 Tons per year is considered a Major Source polluant. Six (6) I Power E-365 Engine/Generator sets produce less than 1,000 POUNDS of particulates per year.
Pyro-oil
- Pyro-oil can be take and refined for many uses such as: combustion fuel to power farm machinery and other industrial machines, and as a substitute transportation fuel.
- May be used directly as a substitute for bunker oil or refined for use in the chemical industry or for transportation fuels.
- May be stored and transported, and hence need not to be used at the production site.
- May be used in making adhesives, wood preservatives, and production of chemical and resins.
- The Department of Energy has just awarded a $25 million dollar contract to Honeywell to develop means of stabilizing Pyro-oil as a substitute transportation fuel.
